Banu is the founder of Alignment Key, helping businesses and people reach their fullest potential.
Banu was born in Turkey, and had the opportunity to live in very different parts of the world through out her life. She graduated from primary school in Izmir, Turkey; went to secondary school in Pakistan and Cyprus and than High School in Naples, Italy. Because she lived in different parts of the world with her family all her life, she tough studying International relations was a good option at the time, so she went on to study Political Science and International relations at Boğaziçi University, one of the most prominent universities in Turkey and Graduated in year 2000. However as life turns out, her career did not end up in international relations.
She was offered an internship at Xerox at her last year in collage, that started her career in the business world. She worked at various positions at Xerox for 11 years, from customer relations to service management and later moved on to product marketing and business development. During this time, she did her Graduate studies in Business and got her Masters in Business Administration degree in 2005. In 2010 she was invited to work for Microsoft. She has done different roles in marketing and sales in Turkey, and later in the Middle East and Africa Region. She is currently the Sales Director managing Device Sales.
As much as she enjoyed business life, and had success all along, in her late thirties, she started to explore if there was a way to fulfill her purpose better in this world, it has to be just more than just delivering business results for a company. She became a breathing facilitator and started mind coaching at a local practice in Istanbul in 2015, and it was here that she was introduced to the Human Design system.
The more she dove into this information, and started her self exploration and discovery, she was awed by the profound impact this knowledge started having on her life.
She later went on to professionally study the Human Design from the business angle. BG5™ System is the business application of Human Design and she became a Certified BG5™ Consultant. She was one of the few people in the world to receive the invitation to be become a certified teacher. After being certified, she was invited to teach worldwide classes for the BG5 Business Institute, where she teaches Foundation classes today.
Banu’s life purpose, as defined by the BG5™ is that of “Dedication - being a great teacher dedicated to explaining the same things over and over, thus furthering education and change, always interested in what comes next”.
No wonder through out her life, she had been told by many that she should be teacher as she was perceived to be very good at telling people about a subject in ways they could understand and relate to well. Her passion is to help those around her bring the best out of themselves, and that coupled with an understanding of her life purpose made perfect sense.
She founded Alignment Key to form a platform where she can help people reach their fullest potential in alignment with their true selves.
